Three very different island holidays at three very different price points. An honest comparison from someone who sells all three.
This is the single most common question in our inbox from honeymoon couples. The short answer: Andaman for value and beaches, Maldives for privacy, Bali for variety.
Cost
For six nights per couple, expect roughly ₹65,000 for Andaman, ₹1.3 lakh for Bali and ₹2.2 lakh upward for Maldives — excluding flights in each case. Maldives is priced per villa, so the gap widens fast when you upgrade.
What you actually do
- Andaman — beaches, scuba, island hopping, some history at Cellular Jail
- Maldives — a resort island, water sports and doing very little, deliberately
- Bali — temples, rice terraces, waterfalls, surf beaches, nightlife and shopping
Travel time and hassle
Andaman needs no passport for Indian citizens but has ferry logistics. Maldives is a short flight plus a seaplane or speedboat. Bali is the longest flight of the three but the least restrictive once you land.
