Cancellation & Refund Policy

Standard cancellation slabs, refund timelines and what stays non-refundable.

Last updated

Each package page carries its own cancellation slab under the Cancellation Policy tab, and that slab always takes precedence. Where a package does not specify one, the standard slabs below apply.

Standard slabs — domestic packages

  • 30 days or more before departure — 10% of the package cost
  • 15 to 29 days before departure — 25% of the package cost
  • 7 to 14 days before departure — 50% of the package cost
  • Less than 7 days before departure or no-show — 100% of the package cost

Standard slabs — international packages

  • 45 days or more before departure — 20% of the package cost
  • 30 to 44 days before departure — 40% of the package cost
  • 15 to 29 days before departure — 70% of the package cost
  • Less than 15 days before departure or no-show — 100% of the package cost

Always non-refundable

  • Air and train tickets once issued — these follow the carrier's own rules
  • Ferry tickets issued in a traveller's name
  • Visa fees once the application has been filed
  • Permit fees once processed, including Inner Line Permits
  • Travel insurance premiums and payment gateway charges
  • Bookings on peak dates declared non-refundable in writing at the time of confirmation, typically 20 December to 5 January

How to cancel

Cancellation requests must be sent in writing to bookings@travelcrew.in from the email address used at the time of booking. Requests made only by phone or WhatsApp are not treated as confirmed. The cancellation date is the date we receive the written request.

Refund timelines

  • Domestic packages — 10 to 15 working days from the date of the written request
  • International packages — 15 to 21 working days
  • Refunds are always made to the original payment method

Date changes

Where availability allows, we prefer a date change to a cancellation. One free date change is permitted on most packages if requested well before departure, subject to a fare difference if the new dates are priced higher.
